The Seaside Elks Lodge #1748 sits just blocks from the Pacific on Avenue A, and if you've ever walked through its doors, you already know what the 62 reviewers averaging 4.6 stars are talking about. The members here are, as one visitor put it simply, "some of the best people." That's not a slogan, it's the first thing strangers notice.

This lodge earned its reputation the hard way, by showing up. Hosting the OSEA 108th Annual Convention is no small feat, and members pulled it off in a building that attendees called beautiful and well-maintained. From the moment guests arrive, the welcome is immediate and real, whether you're a traveling Elk stopping in from out of state or a local joining for the first time.

The Oregon coast setting gives Lodge #1748 a character all its own. Summer conventions here mean ocean air, a tight-knit crew that knows how to run a room, and a hall that can go from quiet evening gathering to full convention mode without missing a beat. Come for the camaraderie. Stay because you can't quite bring yourself to leave.

What We Offer

Lodge #1748 offers members and guests a full social hall, bar, and event space that the community counts on for everything from casual Friday nights to large-scale Oregon State Elks Association conventions. The facility is clean, well-kept, and ready for whatever the calendar demands.

Beyond the building itself, the lodge runs charitable programs that funnel resources back into Seaside and the surrounding Clatsop County area, supporting veterans, youth, and neighbors in need. Membership opens the door to reciprocal privileges at Elks lodges across the country, which means your card works from Seaside to Savannah.

Regular events, member dinners, community fundraisers, and seasonal gatherings keep the social calendar full. New members and visiting Elks are welcomed with the same energy the regulars bring every week.

"We recently attended the OSEA 108th Annual Convention hosted by the Seaside Elks Lodge #1748, and I cannot say enough wonderful things about this Lodge and its members. The building is beautiful, well cared for, and truly reflects the pride of their membership. Every person we encountered was warm, welcoming, and went out of their way to make all of us feel at home. They hosted a fantastic banquet to conclude the sessions — the food was absolutely delicious, and the atmosphere was filled with genuine camaraderie. It’s clear that the Seaside Lodge puts their heart into everything they do. If you are considering getting involved with the Elks organization, I highly encourage you to check in with your local Lodge. It's an incredible way to connect with your community and make lifelong friends — and the Seaside Lodge is a shining example of what Elkdom is all about!"

"Friendly staff, fun times! I saw a Hawaiian reggae band there last night and felt welcome and comfortable! Really enjoyed all the mounted elk heads everywhere! The main bar had a huge line when I got there, but the awesome staff plowed through the thirsty patrons with a quickness! Would definitely return."

The Elks gave America
Flag Day.

Long before it was a national observance, the Order set aside June 14th to honor the flag. Patriotism has always been one of our cardinal principles, and every lodge meeting still closes the same way it has for over a century.
